I guess I should have mentioned this before now...

I kept thinking I would write a big long post with the back story, but I just don't think that will happen. Drum roll please... WE ARE ADDING ON TO OUR HOUSE. You totally thought it was a baby didn't you. Umm-NO! We have been kicking the idea around for about a year and a half that we might like some more space. We looked at houses for about a year or so and just decided there wasn't one that we loved as much as our current place. We love the location and the neighbors and the feel of it. We would love a bigger back yard, but hey we live right by Forest Park. It is the biggest back yard around. This summer we met with an architect and he drew up plans. We had a saga of getting the plans passed by the city, but they have passed and about three weeks ago they took off our roof and started. So, what are we doing? A hole has be ripped out of the middle of our house in our hallway closet. We are adding stairs to the third floor. We are adding a laundry room, bathroom, finishing our attic as a master bedroom and will have a rooftop deck. I assume that when the plaster dust settles it will be AWESOME! We are really excited and nervous and busy making choices and answering questions. There is much happening around here. Pictures to come...
