Shining Happy Mommy!

It is so easy this day in age to feel like you are a bad mom. I am queen of this. I am constantly beating myself up and thinking I should do more or less or something different. Well, today I realized I am in fact a rock star mom. Here is how I know. I did an art project with the children. I cut out hearts from our recycling then we put glue on them and added glitter. Tons and tons of glitter. If you know my Lillian at all, well you know this was SUPER loving. The kid is very pro-glitter. G is four and spilled half of his glitter on the rug. The hearts are so very fun and bright. I think they will make the perfect addition to the light in the dining room. I am pleased with the product. We had a blast! We got glitter everywhere. I mean EVERYWHERE! dining room, kitchen, hall, bathroom, bath tub, clothes, bedroom, etc. So, this can only lead me to be an awesome cleaner because I know what has been cleaned and what has not been. It really was a success because we had fun and I wasn't a JERK. Peter helped me clean up. I mean at least the glitter is covering the dirt. Brief moments when we are not as sinful as we could be are signs of the work of the Holy Spirit.
