Abundant Sunshine

Well, we have had a lot of rain in St. Louis this spring. I mean tons. We are several inches above the average for the year already. I have had a few e-mails and calls about flooding. We are not flooded and our basement seems to be holding. I know several people who have had basement flooding for the 1st time. We just saw on the news that the peak should hit the Mississippi in the St. Louis area on Monday. East St. Louis is the biggest concern not the area where we live. It is at times like this that I am really glad I live on the second floor.

So, I just looked out my window and noticed that it looked like it could rain. I got up my nerve and checked the weather for Saturday and the Race for the Cure. It is supposed to rain on Friday and Sunday, but Saturday's forcast said, "Abundant Sunshine." I'm so thankful! So the cake is ordered and the hot dogs purchased. Stop by and celebrate on Saturday, if you can. I have lost track of the numbers because people don't have to sign up with me, now. I think we are up to about 85 or 90.
