Alive

Just wanted to report that we are alive and well. I have gotten a few calls from family that heard about the storm. Much of St. Louis is without power, including parts of our neighborhood. We still have power. It is really weird because so many businesses are without power, too. We are expecting more storms for the next few hours, but it is cooling things off. It was over a 100 degrees, yesterday. We are all glad for the relief from the heat with so many without power. Susan and the boys are without power, but camping at her mom's house. Thankfully, we are all safe with no major damage to houses or cars. It was an amazing storm to watch from the windows. The wind was blowing so hard. It reminded me of watching hurricanes come through in Louisiana. So we are working on the kitchen all weekend. The walls are almost all up.
