New Stats!

Grayson had his nine month check-up, today. He passed! No shots. That is always nice. He weighed in at 20lbs, 4ozs. Lillian didn't hit the 20lb mark until she was a year. He is in the 50th percentile for weight. He is 29 and a half inches tall. He was in the 85th percentile for height. He gained three pounds and grew three inches in the last three months. He is standing on his own now for about a minute at a time and has taken a step. He will be walking, no doubt, soon. He and Lillian are really starting to play. He was "swimming" around in the bathtub last night.
We are taking Lillian to see Dora the Explorer at the Fox on Saturday. Grayson won't be going, so she is really excited about a special day with mama and daddy. She is soooooo excited about going to see Dora. She has already picked out her Dora sweatsuit to wear. She has asked many times a day when we are going to see Dora. Sadly, she doesn't understand time very well. We have been marking the calendar and counting the number of naps. There will be a blog about the event I am sure. Today, she said, "We are going to see Dora and I will wear my sweatsuit. Then we will get balloons, a hamburger and fries!" Not sure where the balloons, hamburger and fries came from, but we can probably work that out.
At the end of the day, it is such a delight to see both kids growing and coming into their own. I can't remember what life was like without them. Maybe more sleep, but I doubt it was worth it. Although, I did sleep good last night.
