Grayson wore a bolo to school today that my grandfather (PapPa) gave him a few weeks ago. It made me smile. As I was helping him get ready for school he said....
Mom, PapPa is just so cool! I mean he fights in wars and everything!
Melanie doesn't mention that Pap-Pa was a navy seal before there were navy seals... He did recon during WW2 of the islands off the coast. He is a war hero. Now, G wears his bolo with pride. He's got courage running through his veins. This helps when his schoolmates tease him about his "handsome" outfit. I love you buddy, Daddy
